Founded in 1996 by Alina Lanza, Just Dance It! opened its doors with two instructors in a modest, small location at the Hammocks, in the same shopping center where it is now.

In 2004, Just Dance It! acquired Heidi & Joe Melchiona’s Dance Center, located at 12721 SW 42nd Street. Alina had studied with Heidi and Joe for 11 years and when it came the time for them to retire, they turned to Alina to continue their mission.

Today Just Dance It has grown into a highly successful and well-respected dance studio with an enrollment of over 1000 students. What sets this studio apart from the rest is a team of young, highly energetic professional instructors who are loyal, dedicated, and committed to each individual student. This combined with the expertise and artistic vision of Alina Lanza and business savvy of Tonie Lanza is what has brought Just Dance It to new levels of achievement.

Our two facilities are conveniently located in shopping centers just minutes from the Turnpike. They are both fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including monitors for parents comfort and convenience while they sit in the lobby areas and watch the students in their class.

Classes are affordable and provided at all levels in jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop, flamenco and belly dancing. They are offered six days a week, at various times.

While having fun dancing, students develop physical fitness, self-discipline, social skills, sportsmanship, respect, and responsibility. Part of the excitement is participating in numerous regional and national competitions at which Just Dance It students are always winners.

Just Dance It commitment runs deeper than winning awards. The focus is on providing an excellent dance program in a safe, family-oriented environment conducive to learning- for the future.
